OUR HISTORY
Big Springs Station has been home to the Wilson family for over 150 years.
Situated in the foothills of the Flakney Ranges, the family farm was established in the 1800's. The Wilson family have run mostly cattle, sheep and grown crops on the land since it was established in 1865.
Today, the historic homestead still boasts an abundance of buildings that made up the original property, from the original stables, shearing shed, roman bath house and family accommodation.
Big Springs Homestead has hosted many family weddings over the many years, and is now available to use for your special day.
Meet with the younger generations of the Wilson family (definitely not pictured here), learn what it means to host your event at Big Springs Homestead and be part of its history.
